I find that many of the 'Account issues' (i.e. accounts going inactive) are due to user error, not because I did something wrong. #2. No, generally speaking, it is most safe for the account if I am the only one in contact with the original owner. If something somehow goes wrong, I'm in a much better position to try and reach out and fix the issue, considering I'm the one they sold to in the first place.
